Please help our brothers and sisters to save their Temporary Protection Status (TPS)
Please help our brothers and sisters from El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua to save their Temporary Protection Status (TPS). This legal permit has allowed them to work legally and live without fear of being deported. Thousands of TPS holders have lived in the United States for over 20 years with this permit. But now the Administration is indicating their intentions to eliminate this TPS program. Agencia ALPHA is currently collecting signatures that will be delivered to our legislators urging them to express their support in favor of the Temporary Protection Status Program. For more details, please speak with the ALPHA team. Thank you (www.agenciaalpha.org).
Gracias.

Dear friends,
Greetings from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston! We hope you are enjoying the glorious fall weather and the many activities the region has to offer! We’re writing to tell you about a new program —MFA Citizens— launched at the MFA this summer.
As of July 1, 2017, all new US citizens living in Massachusetts may receive a free one-year family membership to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
This new program enables the Museum to become a place for new Americans to gather, make connections within their community, and create bridges across cultures—making the MFA part of their American experience. Our goal is to enhance and create new collaborations and partnerships, welcome audiences with diverse backgrounds and interests, and share the MFA’s global collection for all to enjoy.
It’s easy to join. All newly naturalized citizens just need to show a copy or photo of their naturalization certificate at any ticket desk at the Museum within one year of swearing-in, and they will receive a free membership for one year!
MFA Citizens membership includes:
· Special in-person welcome packet and introduction to the Museum.
· Free admission to the Museum for one year for two adults and unlimited children (age 17 and under).
· Free MFA mobile guide rental for MFA Citizens members (available in 9 languages).
· Member discounts on programs, shopping, parking, and dining.
· Print and e-mail newsletters about upcoming MFA programs.
· Invitations to member events.

Trump’s decision to eliminate DACA is taking America in the wrong direction.
Boston, MA. We are saddened and disappointed to report that the Trump Administration is eliminating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program. A Department of Homeland Security memo confirmed that new DACA applications will no longer be accepted after September 5th. Anyone with deferred action that is scheduled to expire between now and March 5, 2018 can apply for a two-year renewal. These applications must be submitted by Oct. 5, 2017. Read More
